As school counselor, I provide services to address the social, emotional and behavioral needs of Thoreau students. This includes offering individual counseling, conflict mediation, lunch bunch, parent consultation, teacher consultation and assessment of student needs. Common inquiries from parents include questions about school transitions, their child's social and emotional development and peer relations.
In addition, I set up and facilitate Section 504 accommodation meetings.
