Thoreau Monthly – October 2022

Partnership with Therapy Dogs International: We are very excited to announce that Thoreau will be piloting a therapy dog program this year! Lester Alloway, our canine friend, has completed an extensive training program and is certified by Therapy Dogs International. Lester and his handler Evy will be visiting our school for roughly an hour each week on Fridays. Nurse Sequeira will be reviewing student health records to ensure compliance with allergy plans and to identify students who are allergic to pet dander.
