Collage

Our work with collage begins with recognition and construction of basic shapes. What kinds of shapes are there? How will we make them? What colors will we use? How do we attach pieces? Where will we place them? As we continue to develop our skill with paper we begin to look at how we put simple shapes together to create more complex objects. Where will we need to overlap shapes? How will set the scene for our ideas? Which parts should we create first for overlapping to occur naturally? How can we show space? How can we repeat the same shape or create negative space?
